Privacy in the beta

Last updated: 31 October 2026

Who is responsible?

Sovran is responsible for the data you provide through the interest form. Contact: info@sovran.nl.

What do we collect and why?

Your name, email address, your organisation if you give it, and your description of what you want to test. We also keep the moment you signed up and your consent. We only use this to assess interest in the Sovran beta and to contact you about taking part. The legal basis is the consent you give through the form. Do not share confidential information or special categories of personal data in your description.

The demo

When you use the demo, we only keep the domain of the website you enter (for example example.com, without the rest of the address), together with the time, the language and whether the demo succeeded. This shows us which kinds of businesses try the demo and helps us find faults. We do not store your IP address. Technical log entries are deleted after 30 days, stored data after 180 days.

Storage and retention

Sign-ups are stored securely with Google Cloud in the Netherlands region (europe-west4). Google processes this data as infrastructure provider. The website is delivered through the global Firebase Hosting network. Technical security and request data may be processed within Google Cloud. We do not send your form data to an AI model.

Sign-ups are kept for 180 days and are then automatically marked for deletion. Carrying this out may take some time. At your request, we delete your sign-up sooner. This sign-up does not yet give access to the app. Before you actually use the beta, you will receive the applicable terms in advance.

Cookies and visitor statistics

Google Analytics is loaded automatically when you open this website, without asking for consent first. A refusal you saved earlier is no longer applied either. Analytics uses _ga cookies with a set lifetime of up to 180 days to tell visits apart, and processes, among other things, the pages visited, device and browser information and usage data. This is not cookieless or fully anonymous measurement.

We use the statistics to understand visits to the website. Ad consent is off, and our tag does not switch on Google Signals or ad personalisation. Our own measurement code does not send form content or email addresses; page addresses and referring addresses are sent without query string or fragment. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. More information is in Google’s privacy policy.

This website has no button to give or withdraw consent for Analytics. You can delete or block cookies in your browser and limit Analytics requests with browser settings or a blocker. This does not automatically delete data collected earlier. For questions or requests, contact info@sovran.nl.

Security

We limit repeated form attempts; for this, a hash of the network address is processed temporarily in memory. The server checks input and the storage is not publicly accessible.

Your choices and rights

You can withdraw your consent, have your sign-up deleted, or ask for access, correction or a copy by emailing info@sovran.nl. Withdrawing does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing. You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
